Sabrina was born and raised in Livingston, NJ, and joined the Livingston Animal Hospital team in 2009 as a kennel attendant/veterinary assistant. While completing her Bachelor’s in Biology at Brandeis University, she continued to work with us during school breaks and has earned her way to experienced veterinary technician. She will continue to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian by attending University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in the Fall 2013. Sabrina especially looks forward to learning about surgery and ophthalmology during her veterinary school work. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, jewelry making, running, and spending time with her Welsh Springer Spaniel, Riley.

Michelle Rivera

Michelle was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and grew up in Woodbridge, NJ. While pursuing her Bachelor’s in Biology at Fairleigh Dickenson University, Madison campus, she worked as a veterinary assistant for about 2 years. After graduating from F.D.U., she joined the Livingston Animal Hospital team in 2012 to gain more experience and skills as a veterinary technician before applying to veterinary school. In Fall 2013, she will continue to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian at Tuskegee University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health. Michelle’s special medical interests include internal medicine and dermatology. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, snowboarding, watching horror films, and spending time with her 2 Chihuahuas, 1 Cocker Spaniel, 1 Pitbull, and 1 cat (who thinks she is a dog!).
