Livingston Animal Hospital is celebrating 50 years of quality service to the pets of Livingston, NJ and the surrounding communities.
The story of Livingston Animal Hospital spans three family generations. Dr. Bernard Weiner, or Dr. Bernie as he was affectionately called, opened the practice in 1964, after having spent time working at the Newark Dog and Cat Hospital in Newark, NJ, which was opened by his uncle, Dr. William Ecker, in 1922.
Newark Dog and Cat Hospital was one of the first of its kind in the area, and quickly became a favorite in the community due to the excellent pet care and customer service it provided. Dr. Bernie carried that same quality of service and family-friendly feel to Livingston Animal Hospital and today his son Dr. Stephen Weiner carries the torch as Chief of Staff. Dr. Stephen Weiner has worked hard to maintain his family's legacy of providing a true "family vet" experience.
Thank you to Dr. Weiner and the entire staff at Livingston Animal Hospital for their teamwork and dedication to our patients and clients; they made this great milestone possible. Here's to 50 more years!
