We are looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a busy multi-doctor, full-service animal hospital. The position available plays an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients, as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule – though rotating Saturday shifts will be required.
Candidates must have experience in the following areas: greeting patients and clients, assisting veterinarians, animal restraint, collecting urine/fecal samples, in-house lab testing, pharmacy duties, monitoring sick and post-surgical patients, and handling medical records. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. The following areas of experience are a plus: surgical prep, assistance and monitoring, digital radiology, dental prophy, venipuncture, placing/maintaining IV catheters and client education. Top priority will be given to LVT or CVT candidates, but will train the right candidate who has prior veterinary experience. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all team members.
